Kei Matsushita (1961) graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, General Design Course and then in 1987 completed the postgraduate study in visual design, General Design Course, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. In 1990, he established Kei Matsushita Design Room. Currently, he is an associate professor at the Department of Fine Arts, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Awards include JAGDA New Designer Awards and TOKYO ADC Awards. Recent works include a cover design for Design News magazine, general direction of Benesse Art Site Naoshima and Takeo Paper Show 2005. Membership: Tokyo Type Directors Club, Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc., AGI.
