Preikestolen (pulpit rock) is one of the most visited tourist attraction in Norway, attracting over 90.000 visitors a year. This natural rock formation stands 604 meters over the Lysefjord, in the south-western part of the country. It is not precisely know how many people make the hike back. preikestolen is also one of the most popular places to commit suicide, with people travelling across the world to jump from the cliff. There are no official statistics, as there is a media embargo on reporting on this subject.
